If you make your judgement based on pants size, or other belts that you own, it may not give you the accurate size for our belts. These belts do run true to size, so you do NOT have to "size up" from the waist size, to get the correct belt size. If your waist measurement, with a cloth tape measure is "34," you would get a size "34" belt. If your waist measured over 34", you would probably want to go up to a size "36" belt. That being said, most men will tell you that their waist size is "smaller" that it really is, so you may have to factor in your own "judgement."
